I’m Michael Foushee

I am a born and raised Oregonian

now living around the Mount Hood area. I work as a digital photographer, focusing on landscapes to showcase the natural world.

I first picked up a camera

at a young age and have been hooked ever since. Over the years, I have honed my skills and developed my own style, focusing on capturing the essence of a place through careful composition and attention to light and color.

In my work as a landscape photographer,

I strive to bring out the beauty of the world around us and to share it with others through my images. Whether I am out in the field or behind the computer, I am always seeking out new ways to capture and share the beauty of the landscapes that inspire me.

As a business,

I explore many aspects of photography; shooting for a range of outdoor, travel, and ‘extreme sport’ companies as well as portrait work. I strive to evolve my creative process, to consistently learn and improve the art I create for others to enjoy.

CREATIVTY AND INDIVIDUALITY

Board sports have completely shaped my personality. Skateboarding has taught me to think outside the box and look at the world through a different lens, always searching for new lines and opportunities. Snowboarding is what first introduced me to the beauty of nature by providing an opportunity to explore and experience the outdoors in a unique and exhilarating way.

These sports have given me a sense of independence that has carried over into other areas of my life. Whether I am tackling a new skate spot, perfecting airs at the mountain, or working a creative project, I feel empowered to take risks and try new things, knowing that I have the skills and determination to succeed.
